You can contact the Bureau by coming along to a Walk-in session at our main offices or outreach venues, calling our Advice Line or by emailing or writing to us.

When you first contact the bureau, you will be given a 10 minute assessment interview. This interview is to decide on the next steps in helping you with your enquiry.

We could help you by...

• Giving you quality assured information to help you take the next step yourself
  
• You may just need something clarified for you to continue yourself
  
• If your enquiry is more complex, you will be offered an appointment
  
• We may give you details of other agencies who can offer more relevant help for your needs.

Your call should last about 10 minutes, to enable an Adviceline Assessor to take your details and establish how best we can help you.

Calls cost five pence per minute from a BT landline and may cost considerably more from a mobile and other phones.
